The Masakado boss fight is not for the faint of heart. This all out DPS character is essentially Yoshitsune on steroids. This was the first superboss we defeated in our play through and it took numerous attempts on normal difficulty.

Our successful team consisted of Nahobeeho (DPS), Konohana Sakura (Support), Yoshitsune (DPS) and Nahobino (Support & DPS). The MVP of this fight is Nahobino’s exclusive skill Kannabi Veil. This move is essentially required to mitigate the cataclysmic damage that Masakado will inflict on his turns.

Our General Strategy:

Nahobeeho: This trendy Jack Frost will cast his exclusive skill Jack Tempest nearly every turn to push DPS and generate a press turn.

Konohana Sakura: She will cast both Bowl of Hygieia and Sakura Sakura every turn to keep the team above 100% health.

Yoshitsune: He will cast Hassou Toni every turn to provide DPS and press turns.

Nahobino: The main character will prioritize casting Kannabi Veil to mitigate damage and will use items and support as needed. Throw in a Murakumo when able.

With some luck and perseverance this team should see you through. Once acquired Masakado should immediately replace Yoshitsune as your teams primary DPS.
